Some of the biggest names in the music industry stepped out to support singer-songwriter Victoria Monét at her album release party for her latest 11-track release, “Jaguar II,” Friday in Los Angeles.
According to the Daily Mail, the party occurred at La Mesa and was sponsored by tequila brand Tres Generaciones.
Bronx rapper Cardi B, who’s also gearing up to release her second album, attended, wearing a grey cutout dress that hugged her curves and showed off her tattoos. She topped her look with dangling earrings, chunky wood bracelets, pink eyeshadow and matching claws.
Also in attendance was former Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland, who opted for an all-black ensemble, rocking a lace bralette, long skirt and shiny boots.
Abbott Elementary star Quinta Brunson donned cute braids and a black suit jacket-like dress that showed much cleavage. She topped the outfit off with silver hoop earrings, a cute heart-shaped purse and pointy heels with silver traps.
The star of the show, Ms. Victoria, donned a more sultry look with a sheer black crop top and matching pants with long blonde hair cascading down her shoulders.
Fellow singer Ella Mai wore a ’90s denim ensemble and a white tube top, pairing it with a cute bob.
Singer and Moulin Rouge Broadway star Joanna “JoJo” Levesque not only showed up at the release party but also commended Victoria for her work on “Jaguar II.”
“Simply cannot get over how stunning this project is/you are [Victoria Monét],” JoJo wrote on her Instagram story. “[You are] one of one in this game and this world. From your unforgettable melodies to your lyrics, which have become my mantras…this is another album that will become a soundtrack to my life. Thank you for what you do and your commitment to excellence. It permeates everything you do.”
Since Victoria released “Jaguar II,” it has hit No. 1 on Apple’s top albums chart.
