Cardi B has seized control of YouTube gossip blogger Tasha K’s earnings from her channel, but the amount of the check processed by Google is suspiciously low and nowhere near the $4 million the rapper is owed.
As of April 21, the Bronx rapper is garnishing all earnings from Tasha K’s channel, but what Cardi B received was $9,304.81, according to a Google representative who told the rapper directly that the gossip blogger was owed that exact amount, Radar Online reported.
What is particularly interesting about the $9,000 payout is that Cardi B’s legal team asked Google to hand over all the money Tasha made on YouTube, which one would assume a gossip blog channel like hers would make more than $9,000.
On May 8, Cardi B seized a mere $640 from Tasha K’s YouTube channel, whose YouTube gossip show, “Unwine With Tasha K,” is suppose to be way more profitable than this.
“YOU ARE HEREBY COMMANDED to immediately hold all money, including wages, and other property, except what is known to be exempt, belonging to the Defendant or obligations owed to the Defendant named above beginning on the day of service of this summons and including the next 1,095 days,” the notice read.
As previously reported, Cardi B won her defamation lawsuit against Tasha K, who the rapper repeatedly warned the gossip blogger to stop spreading harmful STD allegations to discredit her, and she was awarded more than $4 million: $1 million in general damages; $250,000 for medical expenses for a total of $1.25 million; $1.5 million in punitive damages; and $1.3 million for her attorney’s fees.
As fellow YouTuber and attorney who attended Cardi B and Tasha K’s trial, Lead Attorney told Vlad TV, the rapper has a judgment that states the rapper is owed more than $3 million, but has paid more than $1 million in legal fees.
The Lead Attorney also told Vlad TV that Cardi B is able to seize Tasha K’s property, but there are certain protections that allow the gossip blogger to have the upper hand.
The property that Cardi B can seize from Tasha K has to be in her name only, which if this is the case, The Lead Attorney suspects that the gossip blogger, whose real name is Latasha Kebe, does not have anything of value in her name.
Last year, it was revealed that the home Tasha K was living in belongs to her husband, Cheickna H Kebe, and the two have listed the Atlanta property, which sits on a golf course, for rent and have reportedly moved into an apartment.

Tasha K, either by her determination or luck, is judgment proof – when a person’s assets are so limited that a creditor cannot collect a judgment against them either because the person has no assets, person’s income is so low that they cannot afford to make payments on the debt, and/or person’s assets are exempt from seizure, such as a home or a car.
Tasha K also seems unfazed by her debt to Cardi B as she continues to troll the rapper with an insincere apology and excuses as to why she cannot pay her judgment.

From Cardi B’s perspective, the lawsuit was about more than just damages. The rapper has admitted that the rumors spread on the gossip blogger’s YouTube channel, having having an STD and having been an escort in the past, made her suicidal, Insider reported.
“I kept telling people, ‘I just wanna die, I just wish I was dead, I wanna be dead,'” she said. “I wasn’t a celebrity. I was somebody that really wanted to be dead. I didn’t wanna see my kid, I didn’t wanna be with my man. It just made me cry.”
