A New York woman who looks like Cardi B’s doppelgänger is being called “Cardi C” after a video of her on TikTok resembling the rapper went viral.

The woman’s hairdresser, Claudelande Jeanbart, posted the video of the woman, whose name is Ashley, on social media.

Some people mistook Ashley for the rapper, earning her the nickname “Cardi C.” The video soon went viral, and social media was buzzing about the resemblance.

Fans thought that Ashley could be the rapper’s long-lost twin or sister and couldn’t help but notice the strong resemblance. Ashley said that she doesn’t see it, though.

One fan said that Cardi C looked like Cardi B’s long-lost sister, Tequila.

Another thought Ashley was the Grammy-winning rapper without any makeup on.

The real Cardi posted on Instagram on Aug. 26 announcing her new collection with Reebok. The pregnant rapper looked beautiful in a black and red ensemble and captioned the post, “Cardi @reebok collection drops tomorrow 8/27 at 10 am est. #reebokxcardib.”

The rapper also congratulated Lizzo for her hit song “Rumors” being on Billboard’s Hot 100 Top Five. The WAP singer is featured on the single, and “Rumors” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard‘s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs on Aug. 28.
