It hasn’t been a great week for model and online personality Chrissy Teigen. Despite the famous mother and wife having a large following on Twitter and Instagram, several allegations have recently surfaced about her participation in cyberbullying. Conservative commentator Candace Owens took the opportunity to bash Teigen over the online scandal but was quickly reminded that she wasn’t a saint either.
Known for her at-home cooking ventures, Teigen’s “Craving by Chrissy” was recently dropped by Bloomingdale’s over the recent scandal. Earlier this month, Courtney Stodden revealed in an interview that the 35-year-old harassed her online, once DMing her and telling her to commit suicide, The Daily Beast reported.

Stodden, now 26, made headlines in 2011 for marrying a 51-year-old man at age 16.
“She wouldn’t just publicly tweet about wanting me to take “a dirt nap” but would privately DM me and tell me to kill myself,” she told the Daily Beast’s Marlow Stern about the ordeal.
Teigen has since apologized for her online behavior. Nonetheless, her cookware line has also been dropped by Target and Macy’s as she continues to face the consequences of her infamous tweets.
Not missing a moment to bash a left-leaning political activist, Owens took to her Twitter to air out Teigen in the midst of her cyberbullying scandal.
“While I am glad that Bloomingdale’s has also decided to drop Chrissy Teigen, I would be happier if Chrissy offered a sincere apology to all of young women she attacked,” the diehard Trump supporter tweeted Tuesday.

Coming with nothing but receipts, Stern, the Daily Beast editor who interviewed Stodden over her cyberbullying allegations, reminded Owens of the moments she’s mocked people over suicide online.
“Candace Owens claims she’s going after Chrissy Teigen because she cares deeply about suicide… when she openly mocked Meghan Markle for having suicidal ideations and Kurt Cobain for taking his own life,” Stern tweeted, adding screenshots to back up his claims.

Continuing to point out her hypocrisy, he continued to discuss her distasteful comments following the suicide death of late chef Anthony Bourdain.
“When Anthony Bourdain took his own life, Candace Owens made a video where she blamed it on “pc culture” and the “culture of victimhood” and bragged about how because she was outspoken, she wasn’t prone to suicidal ideation,” he said in another tweet.

Sis definitely should’ve sat this one out.
Though she tried to clean up her quotes by saying she can’t be compared to Teigen and referring to Stern as “obsessed,” it was clear that this was yet another case of Owens’ obnoxious comments coming back to bite her.
