Candace Owens Announces Her New Late Night Talk Show

In yet another episode of “Who Asked For This?,” Candace Owens has announced she is ready to make her move to the small screen via a talk show, according to a report by Black Enterprise.

The report states that Owens teamed up with The Daily Wire to announce (or annoy, depending on who you are) the news publicly that Candace

will debut on March 19. The Daily Wire will be producing the show which will tape live in Nashville, which is where the conservative media conglomerate is headquartered.

Through a written statement, Owens, who is a new mother, says, “Candace is going to be funny, it’s going to be light-hearted, but most importantly it’s going to be hopeful. I am intimately involved in the production of the show, and I am incredibly excited to bring it to audiences.”

A press release for the show says it offers “inspiring stories about Americans from all walks of life.” The show will open with a monologue by Owens, followed by a guest interview and panel discussion much like Bill Maher. Owens, who is no comedian, but has been dragged by them

, says, “I think people that follow me know that I have a great sense of humor.”

News of the show comes just off Owen’s last revelation that she may pursue a run for president in 2024

. How this may interfere with those plans is something the new late night talk show host and fervent Trump supporter has left unsaid.

But, just who does Owens think her audience will be this go around?

“I would say that my audience is any person that doesn’t feel heard or feels misunderstood,” Owens says. “That would be my audience. And I think that that’s a lot of people right now.” We shall see.
