Busta Rhymes Went On Anti-Mask Rant At Missouri Event

A never-seen video from a Missouri event has revealed that Busta Rhymes is yet another celebrity who is a part of the anti-mask gang. The rapper went on a political rant in which he bemoaned government mask mandates, and it is now causing quite a stir.

On June 19, Busta was performing at the Seoul Tacos 10th Anniversary Block Party in St. Louis and went off the rails when he began to muse out loud about COVID-19 safety protocols such as masks.

“This is my second show in front of human life in the last 15 f**king months,” he began. “COVID could suck a d*ck.”

While most people would probably agree with Busta on that last part, his rant took an uneducated and unnecessary pivot rather quickly.

“Stop trying to take our civil liberties away. No human being is supposed to tell you [that] you can’t even breathe freely! F**k your mask,” Busta shouted.

The “Gimme Some More” rapper expressed his displeasure at the fact that masks make it harder to flirt with women.

The anti-mask message is not something that many people have not heard before in some form or another.

However, Missouri is one of the states experiencing COVID surges at the same time that vaccination participation continues to falter. St. Louis alone has the most hospitalizations at over 30 percent of the statewide total.

One of Busta’s friends, Roland Martin, sent him a quick message on TikTok about the error in his rant.

“You just said ‘f**k a mask. We can’t eat with a mask. We can’t drink with a mask. I can’t see a chick with a mask.’ Well, guess what? You can’t do none of that sh*t, Busta, if you [sic] dead,” Martin said.

@rolandmartinunfilteredHey @bustarhymes . Your mask rant is nonsensical. If you want to really put that knowledge to the test, come on ##rolandmartinunfiltered to discuss.♬ original sound – rolandmartinunfiltered

Masks are shown to be one of the best defenses against catching the potentially deadly virus.

In short, please do not take health advice from people whose only job is to entertain you.
