Black X came for rapper Burna Boy for sampling singer Jeremih’s “Birthday Sex” in his new track, “City Boy,” after insinuating African Americans don’t have culture.

Back in March, Burna Boy did an interview where he was asked, “Why is it important that the diaspora come home?”
The Nigerian rapper explained that Chinese and Italian Americans know their “bases” because they know which family members paved the way for them to be in America and have a connection with their native home. He said African Americans were the only ones who didn’t know their roots and weren’t connected to their native home.
Sorry, our ancestors were busy being forced on a ship and into poor and life-threatening conditions to build the so-called “land o’ free.”

Many felt the “Bank On It” rapper implied African Americans have no culture. So, when the rapper sampled Jeremih’s “Birthday Sex” in his new song, “City Boy,” Black X threw his words back in his face, asking why he’d sample the Chicago-born (African American) singer’s song if African Americans had no culture.
How come his music is AA artist samples and he dress like us but then tell us we have no culture and need to reconnect to Africa?? This doesn’t look very African to me .. I’m confused
