On May 18, Bravo dropped the Real Housewives of Atlanta season 15 opening credits, showing off the taglines for all the RHOA peaches. The opening included all new graphics and a remix of the instrumental version of the theme song. The intro included one-liners from Kandi Burruss, Drew Sidora, Marlo Hampton, Kenya Moore, Shereé Whitfield, and Sanya Richards-Ross. The taglines included references from some of last season’s favorite moments and their infamous pasts and endeavors.
Burruss slighted Hampton in response to her costar throwing shade at her by saying she was only famous in Atlanta a while back. Her tagline was, “My roots are in Atlanta, but my branches are worldwide.”
Sidora suggested in her one-liner that she would showcase some new talents this season of RHOA, saying, “Forget the gaslight. I’m taking the spotlight.”
Moore referenced her slew of iconic moments in RHOA and her notoriety among all the other women on the show.
“I just don’t do it for the culture…honey, I am the culture.”
“If you can’t keep the pace, stay out of my race,” Richards-Ross said in her clip, paying homage to being a track and field athlete with several Olympic medals.
Whitfield used her time to mention her athleisure brand that launched last season during the RHOA finale. Upon the launch, her website crashed from the sheer number of viewers who logged on to try and buy her products. Whitfield said, “She by Shereé…more like she broke the internet.”
Hampton rounded out the peaches with her tagline: “My past may be checkered, but my future is solid gold.”
Season 15’s episodes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta air on Sunday night on Bravo and the following day on Peacock. After the drop of the new opening, though, Twitter users took to the site to give their opinions on the peaches’ new taglines.
