Veteran rapper, actor, and TV host Bow Wow has been charging $1,000 for a meet-and-greet, and Black Twitter recently reacted to it.
According to The Shade Room, Bow Wow has been charging $1,000 for a meet-and-greet at the upcoming Millenium Tour. The tour, which initially took place in 2021, is set to have a second go-round starting in October.
“The Bow Wow’ Diamond VIP Package’ Includes The Ultimate Hang with Bow Wow: A 30-45 minute personal hang & tour conducted by Bow! ONLY 10 FANS in each city will get a behind-the-scenes look at backstage areas, lounge, tour bus, and more. Personal Meet + Greet & Photo with Bow Wow,” a screenshot of the VIP package has indicated. The image went viral via social media on Sept. 3.
It also said fans would be able to “Attend Bow Wow’s Pre-Show VIP Lounge Party” and get a “Digital Download” of their “Meet & Greet with Bow Wow.” They would additionally get a “Souvenir VIP Laminate & Lanyard,” a “Commemorative VIP Hoodie,” and an “Exclusive Drawstring Handbag,” as well as “Access To early Merchandise Shopping with [a] special item available for sale only to VIP guests.”
Black Twitter quickly got a hold of the screenshots, and, as such, users gave their opinions about the rapper’s VIP package.
“Not Bow Wow charging 1k for meet and greet. Baby, I might got $175 for you,” @@AuntiesBlocc tweeted.

Many have been crediting Chris Brown for revolutionizing the meet-and-greet concept after he charged $1,000 for fans to take pictures with him and enabled the photos to be posted on the internet. The “Run It” singer served the ultimate fan experience for flicks with a personal touch.
