Boosie Badazz believes Monday’s social media outages were karma for the removal of his Instagram pages.
The Baton Rouge native made the asinine argument on Twitter after Facebook, Instagram, and Whatsapp experienced widespread outages this week.
“THEY TOOK MY INSTAGRAM, ND THEN EVERYTHING GOT SHUT DOWN!! #gods #annointed,” he wrote.
He made the implication again after Soulja Boy joked about the social media blackout.
“Boosie somewhere rubbing his hands like Birdman,” the “Crank Dat” rapper tweeted.
“GOD DONT LIKE UGLY #BLESSED,” Boosie responded.
Boosie has lost several Instagram pages due to his antics. In July, his page was snatched after he violated the site’s nudity policy.
“You’ve gotta draw the line somewhere,” Instagram head Adam Mosseri told The Breakfast Club a few months ago. “It’s a nudity policy. We try to be clear. You can appeal, but if you have too many strikes, something will happen.”
After Mosseri’s explanation, Boosie called him racist. He eventually changed
his tune and begged for his page back, per XXL.“You done gave everybody their page back, give me another chance,” he pleaded. “Give me my official Boosie page back with my 10.5 million followers so I can help feed my family some more.”
The “Wipe Me Down” rapper was banned again after making a homophobic post about Lil Nas X. His latest ban occurred in late September. The reason for the latest ban is unclear, but Boosie argued Instagram wants to censor his new biopic.
“MY IG WAS TAKEN FOR NOTHNG AGAIN,” Boosie tweeted on September 28. “THEY MUST HAVE FOUND OUT I HAVE A FILM THAT I’M PROMOTING. PLEASE CONTINUE TO BUY MY FILM DESPITE THIS MOVE TO STOP THE SUCESS OF MY STRUGGLE. YALL ALL I GOT AGAINST THESE POWERFUL PEOPLE.BUY IT TWICE TO BOOST MY FIRST WEEK NUMBERS, THANKS.”
