Boosie Badazz (né Torrence Ivy Hatch Jr.) asked the public to protest a prosecutor he claimed refused to abide by the judge’s order that granted him bail on Tuesday. 

According to NBC San Diego, U.S. Magistrate Judge Allison Goddard granted the 40-year-old to be released from federal custody on bail if he followed certain conditions, like not traveling outside the U.S. 

But, according to the “Set It Off” rapper, the prosecutor, Michael Gary Wheat, demurred and appealed Judge Goddard’s decision. 

“After the judge has granted me a bond, and I paid my full cash amount, the prosecution refuse to respect the judge’s decision to let me go,” Boosie tweeted Wednesday night. “They showed no evidence of me being a flight risk or a danger to the community.”

Boosie’s tweet went on, “The prosecutor, Mr. Wheat, looked at me singing ‘Wipe Me Down,’ wiped his shoulders and shook his head with a look of evil in his eyes. This is total misconduct from a prosecutor. He is racist and has evil intentions. Now they filed an appeal asking another judge to keep me in prison.”

He then asked for the “people of San Diego” to protest the injustice brought on him outside the courthouse on Thursday. 

“I need ALL prayer warriors across the world to pray this southern district of California remove Mr. Wheat and this prosecution off my case. Even my attorneys have never seen nothing like this in their career. Help me fight this injustice and say a prayer for my freedom tomorrow.”

As Sis2Sis reported, police arrested Boosie on May 6 after conducting a traffic stop and discovering two loaded guns in his possession — convicted felons are barred from possessing weapons. 

San Diego Judge Frances Devaney 

dismissed his gun charge case last week. After the Louisiana-born rapper stepped outside the courtroom, happy about the case dismissal, federal agents slapped handcuffs on him for a different legal situation. There’s no further information on that matter.
