Boosie Badazz Canceled Album Collab With T.I. And Called Him A Rat For Snitching On Deceased Cousin

Boosie Badazz doesn’t play about snitches, specifically snitches betraying family members, which is why the rapper cut ties with his longtime friend and fellow rapper T.I. Also, that album the two were working on won’t be released.

In an interview with Vlad TV (published on Monday), Boosie went off about T.I’s 2020 confession of snitching on his dead cousin to avoid a gun charge on his podcast, expediTIously with Tip “T.I.” Harris

Boosie said he didn’t know if it was true, implying

he could’ve said it for clicks and views. But Boosie noted that if it was true, he was a “rat.”

“If he did that, you a f**king rat, too,” the “Wipe Me Down” rapper set. “I don’t spare no motherf**king body. Because if you’re doing anything wrong, you’re doing anything criminalized, and you cooperate with law enforcement to get you out of trouble, that means you’re cooperating, that means you’re a rat.”

He continued, “But I’m going to tell you like this, when I saw that…I think T.I. f**king lying. I think he went up there and just got to f**king talking.”

It didn’t make sense to Boosie for T.I. to wait almost two decades to admit to ratting out his deceased cousin.

“All this stuff…I just feel like, for me, talking and vibing with this man, I don’t feel like he could’ve held that in for f**king all these years.”

Additionally, Boosie didn’t understand why T.I. publicly confessed while the two were working on releasing an album.

When asked if the album was coming out, Boosie said, “no.”

“It ruined everything,” the “No Juice” rapper said. “I woke up with my motherf**king phone, everything full. Like ‘Boosie, you cannot do an album.'”

He said he received messages from loyal fans and family members advising him not to release the album after the confession, and Boosie complied.

On the podcast, T.I. talked about the gun charge he and his cousin, Toot, got arrested for in the early 2000s. After Toot died, the “Whatever You Like” rapper said his lawyer told him he could avoid the charge if he placed the blame on his deceased cousin. T.I. said he talked with Toot after he died and was told he could pin the blame on him.

According to TMZ, T.I. will release a solo album to address the allegations against him and his now-foe, Boozie.
