Blue Ivy Carter is Worth $500 Million At 9 Years Old

Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s baby heir Blue Ivy is worth millions before she reached the double digits.

The 9-year-old is worth $500 million, according to a list of richest celebrity kids published by The U.S. Sun. This news comes three months after Blue Ivy won

a Grammy for Best Music Video for her mom’s song “Brown Skin Girl.” In addition to being featured in the music video, she also provided vocals. She is the second youngest person to win a Grammy ever.

Blue Ivy has been a muse for her mom Beyoncé since she was born in January 2012. The song Blue from her mother’s self-titled album is about her. Additionally, she has been featured in several of her mother’s visuals, including the Formation video.

Last year, Beyoncé told British Vogue she is raising her kids to believe in their ability to change the world.

“I let my children know that they are never too young to contribute to changing the world,” the “Already” singer said. “I never underestimate their thoughts and feelings, and I check in with them to understand how this is affecting them.”

“Blue saw some of the reactions to the ‘Brown Skin Girl’ video, as well as some of the videos from the philanthropic work I’ve done this year,” Beyoncé added

. “When I tell her I’m proud of her, she tells me that she’s proud of me and that I’m doing a good job. It’s teeeeeew much sweetness. She melts my heart. I believe the best way to teach them is to be the example.”

Her dad Jay-Z has also featured her in his work. When she was two days old, he released a track titled “Glory” that featured a recording of her cries. Recently, Jay-Z revealed Blue Ivy inspired him to learn how to swim.

“I didn’t learn how to swim until Blue was born. There goes everything you need to know. This is a metaphor for our relationship,” Hov said during

an appearance on The Shop: Uninterrupted.

“If she ever fell in the water and I couldn’t get her, I couldn’t even fathom that thought,” he added. “I gotta learn how to swim. That’s it. That was the beginning of our relationship.”

Blue Ivy’s impact is already immeasurable. We stan.
