A Black Panther stuntman and three of his children died after getting into a tragic car accident on Halloween, Oct. 31.
According to Fox 5, DeKalb County police officers confirmed that 41-year-old Taraja Ramsess, his 13-year-old daughter Sundari Ramsess and his 1-month-old daughter Fujibo Ramsess died in the crash.
Taraja’s 10-year-old son, Kisasi Ramsess, also known as “Sauce the Boss,” was transported to the hospital after the crash but succumbed to his injuries on Nov. 4.
The only survivors of the crash are his 3-year-old daughter and a 15-year-old girl who sustained minor injuries.
Investigators claimed Taraja was driving a Ford F-150 and crashed into a tractor-trailer that had broken down in the left lane along an exit ramp from Interstate 285 to Interstate 20 East.
According to a GoFundMe created by Andrea Lawson, the sister of Taraja’s partner, Lisa Wilson, the Avengers: Endgame stunt double had taken his children trick or treating that night.
The incident is currently under investigation.
Lawson is looking to raise $50,000 for Wilson, who was also in the entertainment industry.
“Taraja was the sole provider for this large blended family, and their financial needs go way beyond funeral expenses,” the description said. “The surviving children will need medical care, counseling, school expenses paid, food, clothing, and limitless extra care to ensure that their lives are not completely uprooted by this trauma and loss.”
She added that the SAG-AFTRA strike impacted Lisa and Taraja’s income. Furthermore, Lisa is still dealing with post-partum after delivering Fujibo. With her child, stepchildren and lover gone, it will be difficult for her to return to work.
A friend and colleague of Akili Ramsess, Taraja’s mother, made a GoFundMe with a $150,000 goal.
Akili welcomed all to celebrate her son and two granddaughters’ lives on Sunday, Nov. 5, around 2 p.m. at the Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam.
Family and friends celebrated Sundari’s life on Nov. 3 at Rawson-Washington Park with candles and yellow and white balloons.
Taraja was a stuntman on several outstanding multi-million dollar movies, including The Hunger Games Catching Fire and Avengers: Infinity War.
