Entrepreneur husband and wife duo Chaz and Whitney Gates secured a $225,000 deal on ABC’s Shark Tank with a pitch for their wine business, Wondry Wine. Investor Mark Cuban accepted on episode 6 of season 14, aired on November 11. Notoriously hard to sell, Cuban offered both the dnd the investment for 15% equity for their Texas start-up.
The Gates celebrated their accomplishment on Shark Tank with a post on Instagram.
The caption read, “WHAT. A. NIGHT! The outpouring of support we’ve received after our @sharktankabc airing has been ABSOLUTELY UNIMAGINABLE… every order, every email, every text/call / DM has touched us more than you know….”
The pair continued to thank everyone for supporting them in their endeavors to expand their wine business with this big next step.

According to Wondry Wine’s website, they launched in 2017 and focused on providing organic fruit extract cocktail wines. Bolstering higher-alcohol levels and better flavors, Wondry Wines is already hitting the shelves.
