Blac Chyna is working on a new television talk show alongside her mother, Tokyo Toni.
According to TMZ, Toni spoke about the upcoming project after the model recently lost a defamation case against the Kardashian-Jenner family last week. Since the mother-daughter duo appeared in reality-based programs, the 50-year-old said the show would be different from anything they’ve done in the past.
“We are going to do one [a new show], on my network it’s called the SHN network it’s called ‘Talking With Tokyo,'” she told the outlet.
Toni also confirmed the show would feature the two hosts interviewing celebrity guests while discussing various topics.
“Yeah (a talk show), me and Blac Chyna. Every day (we will be interviewing) people celebrities, you TMZ, bloggers, come on in stage, sit down and talk,” she added.
When asked if it was going to be a reality show, Toni quickly responded, “Oh no, no no … Two chairs and a sofa for whoever to get comfortable and talk to (us).”
Chyna, whose legal name is Angela White, lost the lawsuit against the family of her ex-fiance Rob Kardashian, claiming that the family told the E! network to cancel the former couple’s reality show, Rob & Chyna, SIs2Sis reported.
While the 33-year-old sought $108 million in damages, the 12-member jury found Kris Jenner, Khloé Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner inculpable for interfering with her contract by convincing the network to cancel the reality series. According to USA Today, the jury deliberated for 10 hours before the judge handed down the decision.
The famed family’s attorney Michael G. Rhodes said the Kardashians were “exuberant” after he called and told them the news.
“They’re very pleased,” Rhodes said. “I hope they enjoy their gala in New York.”
Chyna’s attorney Lynne Ciani expressed her thoughts on the verdict from the jury.
“The jury found that Chyna had not physically abused Rob Kardashian,” and “the jury found that all four defendants had intentionally interfered with her contract with the E! Network.”
“We will appeal on the remaining questions,” she added.
After being named a suspect in a criminal investigation for battery against a woman, identified as Sequoya King, the reality star is also under investigation. She claimed Chyna assaulted her and kicked her in her stomach.
In video footage obtained by TMZ, King said, “Did you feel good when you kicked me in my fat-a** stomach?” after the two women were allegedly in an altercation at a Los Angeles bar on Friday morning.
LAPD told the outlet that Chyna is currently being named as a suspect, and battery charges are being investigated by law enforcement.
