Bill Cosby To Have Cameo In Memphis Jelks’ Music Video For ‘The Cosby Dance’

Hot New Hip Hop reported that comedian Bill Cosby would have a cameo in the music video for “The Cosby Dance” by rapper Memphis Jelks. Jelks welcomed home the comedian and invited him to appear in the music video.

Cosby told

Radar Online that he hoped the music video would help restore his reputation. As reported by Sister 2 Sister, Cosby was convicted of assaulting Andrea Constand at his home in Philadelphia. The conviction was overturned in June, and Cosby was released from prison after serving two years. Cosby posted the song on Instagram with a caption.

“The Cosby Dance. The greatest legacy one can pass down to their children and grandchildren is not money nor material goods, but a legacy of truth and facts,” wrote Cosby. They [media] removed The Cosby Show, A Different World and many of my Honorary Degrees.

However, the Pennsylvania State Supreme Court restored those feelings and memories, when they vacated my conviction, due to the egregious violation of my constitutional rights.

Now, comes a prolific rapper, Memphis Jelks, who adds to the restoration of my legacy with a powerful new song called, “The Cosby Dance.” Hey, Hey, Hey — Far From Finished! @memphisjelks #TheCosbyDance#BillCosby #HeyHeyHey#MemphisJelks.”

Jelks said that he wrote the song to celebrate the comedian’s educational and career achievements.

“I believe the upcoming generation can learn a lot about overcoming adversities by studying and applying the principles of Dr. Cosby’s educational and career choices that have helped lead to his enormous success,” said Jelks. “What better way than a viral song and dance in which the lyrics celebrate some of the great attributes of one of the greatest American comedians of all time, who happens to be Black.”

The 84-year-old comedian is also considering a comedy tour. Cosby’s team is contacting establishments that are open to the comedian performing, and he is also working on a 5-part documentary. The documentary will cover Cosby’s prison stay and trial, as well as his life and career.
