Big Sean trended on social media for serving pimp realness. The Detroit rapper posted a selfie and debuted his newly straightened hair on his Instagram stories late Thursday night.
“N, I need my money trick,” he captioned the post alongside a laughing emoji, XXL reported.
The Detroit rapper was met with jokes and hilarious reactions from fans on Twitter.
Many internet users have compared the “Bounce Back” artist’s new look with comedian Katt Williams.
“Glad to see Katt Williams is doing well,” a user wrote.
“Katt Williams thinks he’s slick,” another one said.
As the comparisons continued rolling in, fans also suggested that Sean’s straightened hair was strikingly similar to Andre 3000s look during Outkast’s run in the early 2000s.
“What’s cooler than being cool? ICE COLD,” one Twitter user wrote, referencing lyrics from OutKast’s classic hit “Hey Ya!.”
“N***a telling Ms. Jackson he sorry rn,” another user commented.
Another commenter said the 34-year-old reminded him of Lord Farquaad from the
Shrek movie franchise: “Lmaoo, this is giving Lord Farquaad vibes,” they wrote. While this isn’t the first time rappers have been rockin’ the straight hair look, social media would not let them live it down without cracking jokes. In 2019, rapper Tyga switched hairstyles after years of wearing braids.
The “Taste” rapper prepared for a new music video featuring YG and Blueface. He assured fans that his straight hair wasn’t a permanent look, but strictly for the video, HNHH reported.
Aside from Big Sean’s hairstyle, he also celebrated his 35th birthday on Friday.
Twitter users did not disappoint as they even compared the rapper to Jesus Christ.
“OMG, Jesus has returned !!” one commenter said.
“He looks like a fiiine black Jesus,” a second user said.
A third user said, “Need this man to come to Lagos with a white garment and old sandals.”
