While celebrities are known to attend sporting events, they’re often confused for other notable household names even if they don’t look alike. Rapper Big Sean and Jhene Aiko were the latest celebrities misidentified for Buffy The Vampire Slayer star Sarah Michelle Geller and husband, “She’s All That” actor Freddie Prinze Jr during Sunday’s NFL game.
The couple attended the NFC Championship game between the Los Angeles Rams and the San Francisco 49ers at SoFi Stadium. However, when the jumbotron captured the two music artists in a closeup, the caption wrote, “Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr.,” prompting the Hollywood actress to share a post of the hilarious mixup on her Instagram account, CNN reported.
In her post, she jokingly tagged the “Bounce Back” rapper, “@bigsean do you get mistaken for me as often as I get mistaken for you? (Swipe right to see my actual date at the #ramshouse).” Geller shared a photo of her and Prinze as she compared the not-so-similarities between both couples. She then added a photo of her and her friend Elsa Collins, with whom she attended the game. Prinze, the Wrestling With Freddie podcast host, was not in attendance.

The Detroit native responded to Geller’s post in the comment section, writing, “Makes sense.”
One commenter said, “I mean, you both have amazing bone structure and a dazzling smile. I kinda get it. @sarahmgellar @bigsean.”
“I personally couldn’t tell the difference between you two,” said another user.
The mother-of-two couldn’t get over being misidentified on national television and continued the joke in her Instagram story.
“‘Um… my big moment at the game?!?” the actress captioned another snap of the “Mercy” hitmaker and his girlfriend. “It’s funny though… not the first time I’ve been mistaken for Big Sean.”
Sean posted several photos in his Instagram stories as he and Aiko stared at the jumbotron in confusion.
