Beyoncé’s Publicist Debunks Designer’s Claim That He Wasn’t Compensated For ‘Renaissance’ Work

Beyoncé Knowles’ publicist Yvette Noel-Schure recently debunked designer Nusi Quero’s claims that he wasn’t compensated for his work for Renaissance.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Quero accused Beyoncé’s stylist, Marni Senofonte, of not paying him for his services via a now-deleted post. He’s reportedly responsible for the metallic look the singer wore on the Renaissance cover as well as its accompanying photos. As such, Yvette addressed his accusations via an official statement on Oct. 14.

“It is deeply troubling that designer Nusi Quero has posted damaging statements about Marni Senofonte regarding non-payments for work completed,” she said in the statement.

She added that Nusi actually did get paid for his work.

“In fact, he was paid for his work, and there is proof of all payments made,” Yvette said. “We have been in communication with his team and there were three payments made to him. The first payment was made on May 9, 2022. The second payment, a fifty percent down payment on the agreed cost, was made via wire on July 8, 2022. The third and final payment was returned when he changed his account number,” the statement continued. “It was returned as an invalid account number based on an error on his part.”

Beyoncé’s publicist continued, saying that “after persistent and exhausting communication” and “two unsuccessful wire transfer attempts,” a check was sent to Nusi via mail.

“After persistent and exhausting communication to get the correct information on his account and two unsuccessful wire transfer attempts, a physical check was mailed to him for final payment on September 29, 2022,” Yvette said.

Meanwhile, Beyoncé has been sharing videos and images of her newest campaign with Tiffany & Co. titled “Lose Yourself in Love.” The campaign, which officially launched on Sept. 2, is reportedly about “celebrating individuality, love, and universal connection.” She also shared

images of her “Club Rennaisance” Paris party in partnership with the luxury jewelry brand on Oct. 8.
