Thursday, one of the sharks from Shark Tank, Barbara Cocoran, got into a slight dustup after allegedly fat-shaming Whoopi Goldberg on The View. The real estate mogul delivered a little shade, but Ana Navarro responded with a lot more.
During a conversation about Good American jeans, Whoopi jokingly asked if the pants would fit “COVID butts.”
“Will they fit this COVID [butt]?” Whoopi, 65, asked.
Co-hosts Sunny Hostin and Navarro verified that they would fit a butt that may have expanded during the year that didn’t exist, 2020.
That’s when Cocoran, who is very thin, said something that she should have thought twice about.
“When you get finished with those jeans and decide you don’t like them, give them to me,” she said. “I’m gonna make two pairs!”
Yikes!
But, Navarro had Whoopi’s back like a true soldier, caught Cocoran’s shade and threw it right back at her.
“Whoopi, let me just tell you something. Both Sara Haines and Jill Biden wore that dress already on TV,” Navarro responded about Corcoran’s dress.
Navarro, who is plus-sized, was particularly not in the mood for anyone to be fat-shamed on the heels of Donald Trump Jr. trying to do it to her when she was erroneously diagnosed with COVID-19.
“Given the Ana Navarro news, I think it’s time for a national conversation about the dangers of Covid-19 & obesity,” said the twice-impeached one-term president’s son.
The public outcry over Corcoran, 72, shading the beloved actress became more than she bargained for. The Shark Tank veteran issued an apology video in a blue jean robe with a matching belt within a few hours.

“I just came back from The View and saw my old friend, Whoopi. As you well know, she has a phenomenal sense of humor, and I’ve known Whoopi for years. I made a joke at Whoopi’s expense, which I now realize wasn’t funny,” Cocoran said.
Whoopi responded graciously.
Barbara we have been friends forever and i know your humor, i knew you were kidding

Cocoran may be on Shark Tank, but she learned quickly that real sharks live on the internet.
