Rapper Azealia Banks criticized Kanye West about his attitude towards his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, and daughter, North West, in a rant about his public parenting feud on Instagram.
The 30-year-old Harlem native slammed Kanye’s behavior in a lengthy post via her stories. She started her rant, saying he bullied North on social media.
“Y’all are making way too many excuses for Kanye,” she said. “This is the second time he has publicly bullied North West. First with the abortion sh*t, and now putting her on blast on his Instagram page as if she’s some sort of criminal. Kanye had no problem with that magazine cover where North had on a f*****g belly top and purple eyeliner with her little buds showing thru the shirt. He thought it was fashion. You all said nothing.”

Recently, the Grammy Award-winning rapper went on his Instagram page and accused Kim of allowing their daughter to use TikTok against his will.
“Since this is my first divorce, I need to know what I should do about my daughter being put on TikTok against my will?” he asked his followers on Feb. 4.
Then, Kim rebutted Kanye’s post saying that his question hurt her.
“Kanye’s constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create,” she said. “As the parents who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision.”
Afterward, the 44-year-old musician fired back, claiming that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star kidnapped his second daughter, Chicago, on her birthday.
Azealia said she believed that Kanye’s statements were part of a plan to ruin Kim’s mental health.
“He’s making it his business to try and wreck the mental health of the only person around to care for his children (their mother)…he galavants the streets with dirty industry interns, druggy slutbags, eating dirty steaks at les dive bars.”
However, Yeezy refused to back down from his comments. On Feb. 6, he made another Instagram post claiming Kim said he put a hit out on her. He also said that such accusations send Black men to jail and that he won’t tolerate it, nor will he joke around when it comes to his Black children.
“They play like that with Black men’s lives, whether it’s getting them free or getting them locked up. I’m not playing about my Black children anymore.”
Azealia described Kanye’s actions as abusive behavior rooted in slavery.
“This is p***y a*s deadbeat abusive Black man s**t, and all you n****s trying to keep the cycle of plantation-style shaming and embarrassing young black children for being kids, are what the f**k is wrong with this toxic a*s culture,” she said.
She ended her rant by calling the Chicago emcee a psychopath that needs help.
“Kanye West is an abusive psychopath, [and] it’s beyond mental illness. Stop trying to help him and start trying to help the poor child that he keeps on trying to embarrass and abuse publicly to garner sympathy for his ashy a**.”
Kanye has since deleted all remnants of his dispute with Kim from his page. She filed for divorce from him back in February 2021 after seven years of marriage.
