The R&B legend Anita Baker has announced that her battle to obtain her masters has finally come to an end.
Fans were let down when Baker took to Twitter in March to ask that everyone stop streaming her music as she fought herfor ownership of her music.
The Rhythm of Love songstress tweeted, Miraculously… I have out-lived ALL, of my Artist Contracts. They no longer ‘Own’ My Name & Likeness. And, by Law…30-year-old masters are to be returned to Me. Unfortunately, they’re gonna make me Fight 4 it. I’m Prepared 2 do that. Please Don’t advertise/buy them. ABXO.”
Now, the icon took to Twitter on Friday (Sept. 3) to reveal the news. She tweeted, “All My Children Are Coming Home,” along with a photo of five of her albums. “Catalog. Impossible Things Happen…Every. Single. Day. Gratefully.”
