Amara has been over the moon since sharing she was expecting twin girls.
The “Vai” singer said about motherhood and her inspiration, “I will Protect My Children By All means Necessary! I am a Warrior for my Babies. I am a Strong Woman, and I learned it from my Mother! The One and ONLY who never leaves My Side My Mother @mamianalamama1. Thank you For Protecting me and Being My eyes. I wouldn’t be able to do this Without you! My Guardian Angel!!! I love you so much!”
In October, the 31-year-old entertainer revealed that she suffered a miscarriage last summer. She claimed despite using contraceptives– Allan and Amara found themselves expecting.
She detailed how the miscarriage was a shock because she wasn’t aware she was pregnant.
“I had a miscarriage,” Amara said. “This happened many months ago! I had a miscarriage like two weeks in. I didn’t even know till I started bleeding, which lasted like three weeks. Thanks for all the good wishes.”
“I had no idea what was going on,” she continued. “I cried for days cause I really did want to have that baby! I’m not getting any younger, and I’ve always been afraid of waiting too long ’til it’s too late. I had so many dreams and hopes that just bled out of me. My motherly and nurturing instincts kicked in, but it was too late.”
Amara posted an ultrasound video on Instagram that showed her healthy girls on Tuesday.
