Verzuz,” before asking others in the room which they thought she should go up against. When Rihanna and Beyoncé’s names were mentioned, Keys commented, “That’s a good one. Alright, I like that: me, Bey or Rih.”

And while she could hardly contain her excitement at the thought, many others on social media were not really here for the matchups. One Twitter user wrote about the hypothetical Verzuz, “Alicia Keys saying she would want to do a Verzuz

battle with Beyonce or Rihanna has got to be the funniest thing I’ve heard all week,”
