Cher and her new beau are in love and didn’t seem to hide it during Versace’s Los Angeles fashion show on Thursday in California when the two shared a romantic kiss in front of cameras, People reported.

The 76-year-old singer and her boyfriend, Alexander “AE” Edwards, 36, stepped on the red carpet event, looking cozy with each other. The couple held each other close while smiling and posing for the cameras. At one point, Edwards removed his sunglasses and turned toward Cher to plant a sweet kiss on her lips.

The singer went edgy for her look, donning a blue sequined leather jacket and a matching catsuit. A blue corset with a mesh design covered the top part of the catsuit. Cher topped her look with blue platform boots.

Edwards was more subtle with his look, opting for an all-black ensemble. 

According to the outlet, the couple met in September at Parish Fashion Week. Yesterday’s post from Cher’s Instagram account is the only one on her account with pictures of the two. But it’s not the only time she posted him on social media.

In a since-deleted Tweet, Cher posted a photo of Edwards, writing, “Alexander” with a red heart. One commenter warned the singer about his history of cheating, precisely when he was with Amber Rose, with who he fathers 3-year-old Slash Electric. In 2021, Edwards admitted

to cheating on Rose with 12 other people during an Instagram Live interview with DJ Big Von.

However, Cher didn’t seem to care.

“Babe, English is my first language, I’m in [love] not blinded by it,” she commented. “Know what I know…smoke doesn’t always mean [fire].”

Another commenter wrote, “Yess, 40 year age difference. Only Cher…I love it!”

Cher responded, “Love doesn’t know math, it sees [two heart emojis]. Rinpoche told me ‘Some ppl meet, others ‘recognize.'”

Cher sparked engagement rumors when she posted a photo of Edwards holding a box containing a teardrop ring, writing, “There r no words, Alexander, A.E.”

A source told the outlet that the two are “very much in love.”
