It’s been a while since Cheetah Girl alums Raven Symoné and Adrienne Bailon-Houghton have shared a set.
If you’ve ever been a fan of That’s So Raven, then you might be excited to learn that Bailon-Haughton will reprise her role as Alana, the glamorous school bully, on the fifth season of Raven’s Home, according to TV Line, reuniting with Symoné on the Disney Channel series.
Sharing her excitement about returning to the cast, Bailon-Houghton told the outlet, “I’ve always been hopeful about [playing Alana again], so to be able to make it happen was a dream come true,”

On her close relationship with Symoné over the years, the talk show host added, “We did the first Cheetah Girls movie when I was 19, and now I’m 38, so we’ve stayed friends for almost 20 years. We laugh at the fact that we were playing the high school students… and now we’re playing the parents. It’s so bizarre!”
Featured on the upcoming season of Raven’s Home, Bailon-Houghton will reportedly also act as the principal at Bayside High School, where Raven’s son Booker will attend on the reboot. In the original series, Alana and Raven Baxter were students at the school.

“How genius of the writers of this show to create that dynamic where the school bully becomes the principal. It’s funny and ironic, and I’m loving being the authority figure,” the former 3LW member told TV Line.
On whether she’d be open to making another Cheetah Girls film, Bailon-Houghton continued, “That would be so fun, and I always say ‘never say never.’ I’m so excited about this new generation experiencing the Cheetah Girls on TikTok and Disney+…my only concern would be ruining it. I don’t want to kill the memory of something so great. But I’d always be down.”
