Actress Viola Davis Reveals She Only Made $671 For Her Role In Critically-Acclaimed ‘Antwone Fisher’

Viola Davis recently shared intimate details of one of her most pivotal roles from early in her career.

The 57-year-old award-winning actress posted a video of her performance in 2002’s Antwone Fisher – a critically-acclaimed film directed by Denzel Washington. Davis shared that she was only paid a paltry $671 for her portrayal of Eva May in the movie. Sometimes that’s all you got. She couldn’t deny him his truth. Imagined or not. Uh. Viola, [you’re] reminding us how you still make us feel the emotions. Damn girl.”

Clearly, Davis has leveled up. She is now worth an estimated $25 million.
