During the 80th Golden Globe Awards red carpet ceremony, Emmy-winning actress Sheryl Lee Ralph made headlines for her comments about the Kardashians.
When asked what advice she would give her younger self, the 66-year-old Abbott Elementary star unapologetically praised her features.
“There’s nothing wrong with your nose,” she said. “There is nothing wrong with the shade of your skin. There is nothing wrong with the way your hair grows out of your head.”
Then she tossed a little shade the Kardashians’ way.
“And there certainly is nothing wrong with your lips because there will be some people called Kardashians, and they will pay $10,000 for your lips. Hang in there, 15-year-old Sheryl Lee Ralph. You’re good!”

Ralph dropped another gem during the red carpet portion of the ceremony.
During her interview with Laverne Cox the same night, the two chatted about not giving up on dreams.
Ralph said, “As we say in Jamaica, ‘What is for you can’t be un-for you,’ meaning if it’s yours, it will be yours, and it will never, ever miss you. So don’t you ever, ever give up on you.”
