Tiffany Haddish posed in a bikini on a beach in the Bahamas to show off her 40-pound weight loss on June 22. The actress and comedian shed weight during the COVID-19 quarantine with diet and exercise.
The actress was inspired to get into shape for her role in the upcoming biopic about Olympic track star Florence Griffith Joyner, otherwise known as Flo Jo.
“I had this thought in my mind that I want the body of Flo-Jo!” she said.
The Girls Trip actress said that she got into shape by eating more fresh vegetables and exercising every day, even if for a few minutes. She stressed the importance of nutrition and has her own garden where she grows vegetables. Haddish also noted that making exercise fun is important.
“I’ve been eating differently, eating way more vegetables, definitely eating directly out of my garden and just really putting in the work, making sure I sweat every single day and staying up on nutrition,” said the comedian. “Nutrition is everything. And I try to dance every day for like five to ten minutes. I think that’s really important, too: Make it fun!”
Haddish posted before and after pics on Instagram when she began a 30-day challenge weight loss journey last November.
“Started my @30daytransformationteam program 3days ago and look I think I see ABS and my Bra getting lose. Transform with me click the link in my bio and use the code SHEREADY50 to get half off the price at checkout. I am so excited #sheready for a KickAss Body!”

The comedian, who was once homeless and slept in her car, is helping to bring attention to WhyHunger’s Hungerthon. The WhyHunger’s Hungerthon is an initiative to ease hunger during the holidays. The organization raised more than $1 million last year.
“I was homeless and hungry,” she said. “That’s like two Hs you don’t want to be! Once I got over that hump, I felt relieved. But also I felt like I must continue to work and create opportunity for others so that I don’t end up that way again. This is the 35th year that they’ve done it. I’m like, ‘I’m going to be a part of this.’ I wanted to see how I can contribute. In what way can I lend my platform to spread the word to help? There’s a lot of people in our country right now that are starving.”
Haddish has also become a video game addict. The comedian said that she started exercising with Oculus glasses to a virtual game called ‘Supernatural’ and became addicted. Apparently, her boyfriend Common broke her beloved glasses, and she joked about him breaking them. You can watch the video below.
