Nick Cannon, current host of the Masked Singer, rang in the holidays with good deeds. He paid a visit this holiday weekend to the Children’s Hospital of Orange County to honor his son Zen, who died at just five months old from brain cancer in December of 2021.
In a video posted on Instagram on Friday, December 22, Cannon was shown dressing up in a full Santa Claus outfit and hanging out with the young patients in the Children’s Hospital. He visited them through his late son Zen’s “Light Foundation” which was conceptualized in honor of Zen — who’s mother is Cannon’s ex Alyssa Scott.
43 year old Cannon appeared in the heartwarming video embracing the Santa character. He participated in activities with the sick children like giving our wrapped Christmas presents, taking photos with them, and even reading books to the younger kids.
He captioned the photo, “Zen’s Light shining [sic] bright for the holidays!!” he continued in the caption, “Thank you to the Children’s Hospital of Orange County and everyone who made the day so loving, warm and memorable.🙏❤ ❤ ️.”
Supporters of Cannon’s heartwarming act expressed their gratitude and praise for the Masked Singer host on social media. One user wrote, “Such a perfect way to honor your son and allow his legacy to live on through the joy and comfort you are bringing others in his name. This brought me to tears. Have a Wonderful Christmas and a Blessed 2024.”
