Kanye “Ye” West reportedly has something cooking. TMZ reported that the “Hurricane” rapper is working to obtain trademark rights to “YEWS.”
According to the outlet, documents showed the rapper filed the request in early October and was associated with an LLC called Ox Paha Inc., a company with no ties to the hitmaker.
The documents showed Ye planned on using “YEWS” for real estate, financial services, music and audio, entertainment (TV, games), restaurants, beauty clothing, jewelry, sporting, amusement parks, liquor and more.
So far, there haven’t been any updates on what Ye is explicitly planning to do with “YEWS,” but many believe “YEWS” involved his antisemitic remarks about Jewish people.
The internet reacted to the rapper’s potential trademark name.

As Sis2Sis reported, Ye did a live Q&A on Clubhouse, making antisemitic remarks that resulted in getting the live shut down.
“Right now, America is the most influential nation,” Ye claimed on the live. “But you have companies like Comcast that run everything, and they use the Jews, they use celebrities, they sue Disney, Hulu, they use magazines, they use all of that to control…a lot of the messaging to push us, to excite us…”
He continued, “I can’t help but love. I don’t have nothing but love, so then I said I love Hitler, meaning I love everyone. It’s for God to judge. It’s for us to love, and that’s to be Christ-like.”
