K. Michelle alleged Nicki Minaj stole a song from her during a guest appearance on the R&B Money Podcast with Tank and J Valentine.
Episode 69 of R&B Money Podcast premiered on Saturday, Sept. 23. Around 1:12:37, the trio discussed some of Michelle’s albums, including “Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart?”
Michelle revealed Atlantic Records planned for her and rapper Meek Mill to collaborate on the album’s title track, but Minaj reportedly stole it when she and Meek began dating.
“‘Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart’ was on a Meek Mill album and Nicki Minaj mean ass took it from me,” Michelle said.
Tank and Valentine asked if she meant she stole the entire song or the feature spot. Michelle clarified she meant the feature.
“Atlantic Records put me in with Meek Mill because he needed some love songs,” Michelle explained. “He was shooting folks in his songs. He needed to get some good love stuff. So, he played that record. It wasn’t on his album. I said, ‘Oh, you sleeping on this.’ So, I got the record. I got, like, everybody to hop on the record, and then that’s when I found out they were dating. I never slept with Meek, none of that.”
According to Michelle, Minaj took the record from her and the rapper’s chain after Meek and Minaj became official.
Following Michelle’s interview on the podcast, fans found old Twitter posts from the singer expressing excitement for a song “that didn’t make [her] album,” claiming it was one of her favorite records.
“So super excited! Love her,” she tweeted in 2014, referring to Minaj.
Unfortunately, when someone accuses Minaj of something, the Barbz comes to her defense, which is what they did.
At this point her and Nicki needa sit down and talk about it cause ain’t no way it’s been 7-10 years & she’s still crying about this so it must’ve hurt her real bad. We’re in 2023 about to start a new year let it go tightface🙄 https://t.co/6y2f2rUaxl

Minaj is not stressed about it since she didn’t address it on social media.
