Rapper Boosie Badazz claimed that a crack addiction is healthier than being addicted to fentanyl. The statement was made in response to the shocking death of Memphis rapper Gangsta Boo, who as reported by Sis2Sis, may have died of a suspected fentanyl overdose. Boosie took to Twitter to speak his piece about how many people are dying of fentanyl this past year.

“There are too many people dying in 2022 of fentanyl,” The Louisiana rapper said in the video posted on January 1, captioned, “Fentanyl too d*** strong #crackbetter.”
He continued to say that even crack was safer than it comparatively and that “Crackheads” live longer than anybody else. He said, “If you’re gonna be an addict, you might need to go back to crack. Crackheads live longer than anybody. You still see them around! That fentanyl s*** is way stronger.”
Boosie listed being funny and living longer as benefits of crack. The 40-year-old “Wipe Me Down” artist told the camera, “If you can’t shake it, go back to crack,” Boosie adds. “You’re gonna be funnier, you’re gonna live longer.”

The rapper who prompted Boosie to put out the video was former Three 6 Mafia member Gangsta Boo. Found dead on January 1 in her home, her suspected cause of death is a fentanyl overdose. Gangsta Boo, real name Lola Mitchell, was paid tribute by her group mate DJ Paul on Instagram after passing at just 43.
