ABC quickly apologized and corrected their mistake, but fans weren’t buying it.
We apologize for the unfortunate error in a previous version of ‘The Year: 2022.’ It has been corrected: https://t.co/MOwJXc40pS

“We apologize for the unfortunate error in a previous version of ‘The Year: 2022.’ It has been correction,” the apology read.
Many people took to Twitter to express their frustration and disappointment regarding the company’s failure to do a simple task—research. Others claimed the company’s lack of diversity contributed to the mistake.
This is what happens when you lack diversity in the workplace. Out of touch.

Reiterating the importance of employing black people!! Y’all need us! This wouldn’t have happened if y’all would stop discriminating against us and hiring based off nepotism and connections smh

You keep on making the same ‘unfortunate error’ when you report on people of color, I wonder WHY 🤔
— iFollowBack (@design_peri) December 29, 2022
Do you guys make these mistakes on purpose for views? Or is it a ritual because…..all it takes it a google search I’m honestly curious why these “mistakes” seem purposeful.

The former Migos member, Kirsnick Khari Ball, also known as Takeoff, died on Nov. 1 after being gunned down outside a bowling alley in Houston, Texas.
This wasn’t the first time Takeoff was mistaken for another Migos member. E! News used a photo of Offset when reporting that Houston police released new details regarding Takeoff’s death.
E News just posted and deleted Instagram updates on Takeoff’s death and used Offset’s picture. Huh???? Why aren’t there knowledgeable hip hop reporters reporting this news?? pic.twitter.com/gFNhg3OKPb
