Rapper NBA YoungBoy took to Instagram to announce he’d turned down a lucrative tour to spend more time with his daughter and focus on himself.
In a story posted on Wednesday, November 23, the Baton Rouge native said, “Every $15 million tour come my way getting turned down. I don’t want to do another show. I don’t want nothing but a bigger house. It gave me time for myself. My daughter know who I am – I know who I am.”

The consensus from fans following the post supports his decision, despite it meaning that YoungBoy won’t be going on tour any time soon.

That post isn’t the only one the rapper put out on Wednesday. He also offered to end his rap career and give up any unreleased music he currently has for $100 million.

The post includes ‘Never Broke Again’ brandishing an external hard drive that presumably holds his unreleased music. The caption reads, “You can have it for 100 million, and I’ll never rap again on everything.”
NBA YoungBoy’s apparent desire to exit rap is likely due to his growing family. The “Makes No Sense” rapper is the father of five sons and three daughters with several different women. Still, his youngest daughter is with Jazlyn Mychelle and named Klemenza Tru, according to an Instagram post from Mychelle featuring YoungBoy.
