Wendy Williams’ ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, claimed nemesis Charlamagne Tha God had a role in his affair by introducing him to mistress and, now, fiancée Sharina Hudson during his July 19 interview on Choke No Joke.
“He introduced me to her,” Hunter said after going off about how Charlamagne Tha God broke the “bro code” by making a mockery of the situation.
“Was it cool that you got on the air and made a mockery of the whole thing, when you was part of it, and you knew the family structure that was being instituted? And you know what, regardless of my own actions, there’s a certain code amongst men.”
During part three of the Choke No Joke interview, the TV producer talked about how Charlamagne benefitted from him when Charlamagne struggled with getting a start in his career. He claimed he allowed The Breakfast Club radio personality to live in his apartment rent-free for five years while doing an internship Hunter set up for him and, eventually, got him to make $70,000 annually.
He also indicated that Charlamagne caused a rift in their friendship when he made moves to eliminate Hunter from his career by accepting a radio job in Philadelphia without informing him. According to Hunter, Charlamagne cut him out of his career because he wanted to date Hudson himself.
Charlamagne told Page Six in March 2019 that Hunter and him “fell out” because Hunter thought Hudson liked one of his “homeboys” and that he was hooking his former mistress up with other men.
Williams and Hunter filed for divorce in 2019 after the veteran media personality discovered Hudson was pregnant with his baby. The divorce was finalized in January 2020. One year later, the couple got engaged.
The interview wasn’t the first time Hunter has called Charlamagne out. Sis2Sis previously reported on when Hunter threatened to expose Charlamagne and jumped on the bandwagon with NBA player Kwame Brown calling Charlamagne out on his rape allegations.
