Black Rob fans handed Diddy his a** after he posted a tribute to former Bad Boy Records rapper Black Rob on social media after his death on Saturday.
The music mogul posted a picture of himself and Black Rob on his Instagram page on Sunday after the death was announced. The “Whoa” MC succumbed to kidney failure about a week after a video of him grieving DMX from his sickbed was shared by DJ Self.
“Rest in power King @therealblackrob! As I listen to your records today there’s one thing that they all have in common,” Diddy captioned the photo. “You have made millions of people all over the world feel good and dance! You are one of a kind! GOD BLESS! Love. You will be truly missed!!!!”

The post did not go over well. Fans swarmed Diddy and reminded him of the many artists he’s f**ked over. They also highlighted the status of Rob’s life when he died.
“Diddy literally could’ve cleared Black Rob’s go fund me goal but he didn’t. He’s so sick,” tweeted one person.

Black Rob had to make a Go Fund me and Diddy (almost a BILLIONAIRE) had the audacity to log in here and talk about paying black artist fairly …ok. Smh RIP. https://t.co/1asduSpmv0

Black Rob, a former Bad Boy rapper, was reportedly houseless when he passed away. And @Diddy has the unmitigated nerve to talk about white corporate exploitation. The entertainment class is trash.

“The saddest part of Black Rob’s passing besides the obvious is that I’m sure Diddy will be the one to profit from everybody streaming Black Rob’s music,” another person pointed out. “I know people will want to stream his music, but Diddy benefits. It’s really a sad situation. #blackrob”

After the artist formerly known as Puff Daddy was dragged by fans across the internet, Page Six reported he would pay for Black Rob’s funeral. As we previously reported, Diddy connected with his former artist before he passed away.
“Diddy offered help for Rob, but in the end, sadly, it was too late,” an unidentified source told the gossip rag. “But he wants to make sure that Rob is laid to rest with dignity and according to his wishes. He is helping to make the funeral arrangements.”
It’s the least he could do.
