Tessica Brown, the woman who used Gorilla Glue to lay down her edges, has had another hair emergency. After using an at-home hair dye on her hair, it began to fall out.
Brown’s hair began to fall out in clumps after using an at-home dye to color her grays. Her manager, Gina Rodriguez, said that Tessica dyed her hair on Nov. 30, but her hair comes out in clumps when she combs it and may need to shave her head.
“My hair is steady coming out as I’m rinsing my hair….it falls out in clumps…it’s like it’s melted,” she said.
Brown posted a video on Instagram of her hair falling out with a caption noting that she thought her hair was strong enough for chemicals after a year.
“I Really thought my hair was strong enough for chemicals I dyed my hair in this happened #helpmyhairplease #icantwin #imoverit#icanttakenomore #whyme 😢😭😢😢😢😭😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢.”

The unlucky woman knew something was amiss when she began to feel a burning sensation on her scalp after applying the dye. Parts of her scalp are exposed due to the massive hair loss. Brown is now hoping to get stem cell PRP treatments in Los Angeles on her scalp. Jacques Abrahamian at LA FUE Hair Clinic will help Brown.
Brown went viral for her Gorilla Glue incident in which she mistook Gorilla Glue Spray Adhesive as her hair spray. The result was an emergency room visit and weeks of stiff hair.
Brown has her own haircare line called “Forever Hair,” which has a hair spray, edge control serum and hair growth drops. Hopefully, Brown is adding a gentle hair dye to her line soon, and we hope they take good care of Brown at the hair clinic!
