Comedian Mike Epps’ wife, Kyra Epps, recently gave birth to the couple’s son, and the proud mother has shared a picture of the precious newborn on Instagram.
The couple also shares a 19-month-old daughter, Indiana Rose. Epps also has four more daughters from previous relationships, Bria, Madison, Moriah and Makayla.
After having five daughters, Epps, 50, hoped to have a son to dote on finally.
He announced Kyra’s pregnancy on Instagram in June by posting a picture of his wife and her growing belly. Epps noted in the caption his hopes for having a baby boy.
“God bless My beautiful wife 💝 we prayin 4 a son 🙏🏽🤞🏽,” he wrote.

Epps’ prayers were answered, and Kyra delivered a healthy baby boy. The 36-year-old posted a picture of her newborn son on Instagram and noted how much the couple prayed for a boy.
“Son, we prayed for you!!! You have officially rocked our world. Mama loves you so much 💙, she wrote.”

Kyra also posted a sweet message when she learned that she was pregnant with the couple’s second child. The television producer said that she wanted to have another child so that her daughter would have a sibling close to her age to grow up with.
“My first year of motherhood has been nothing short of amazing and it was important for me to give baby Indy a baby sister or brother that she could grow up with and be just as close like I was with my siblings.”
Epps and Kyra met in 2017 and quickly became engaged. They were married in 2019 and had their daughter in March of 2020.
The comedian will be performing in Oakland, Calif., on Oct. 23 for his In Real Life Comedy Tour. Epps posted a video message about the upcoming event on Twitter.
