A native of New Orleans, Colin became familiar with the franchise as the daughter of McDonald’s franchise owners.

After graduating in 2012 with a degree in business management and completing McDonald’s Next Generation training program, she became a manager of the family franchise. In 2016, at age 26, Colin made history by becoming the youngest Black woman to own a franchise of the company.
Four years after getting her own franchise, Colin she grows her business and serves her community. She provides job opportunities for Black people, supports local organizations and has fed first responders and medical staff during the pandemic.
In an Afrotech report, Colin says, “As an African American community, we need more men and women to know that it’s not just about right now, but it’s about the generations to come.”
