2 Chainz Rushed To The Hospital After Getting Into A Three-Car Collision In Miami

Rapper 2 Chainz got into a three-car collision in Miami Saturday morning and was rushed to the hospital.

The rapper posted a video on his Instagram Story of emergency personnel loading him into the back of an ambulance on a stretcher. One of the cars involved in the crash was spotted in the video’s background, kissing the concrete barrier with the bumper smashed to smithereens.

According to TMZ, a Florida Highway Patrol rep confirmed the incident. The three cars involved were a Mercedes, Toyota and Nissan. Police told the outlet that the 46-year-old “Buggati” rapper was driving on i-95 and was about to exit when another vehicle crashed into him. Police suspect the driver who hit the 46-year-old was under the influence.

The potentially intoxicated driver seemingly rammed into 2 Chainz from the back and caused him to hit the barrier that damaged the front of the car in the video.

He was injured on his body, including on his neck and remains in a stable condition in the hospital.

The rapper was in Miami for Art Basel. Before the crash, he was reportedly living it up at the Booby Trap, a popping strip club, before the accident.

We hope the rapper feels better and has a speedy recovery.

Stretching from Maine to Florida, I-95 is one of America’s most dangerous roads for several reasons, according to her World Atlas (and those familiar with i-95). In Florida, the lack of police presence in certain sections of the highway and reckless drivers are factors that make i-95 dangerous. Countless drivers have no regard for speed and other drivers’ safety. Drunk driving or driving under any influence exacerbates things.

Drivers in Florida who are too scared to drive on i-95 or under the influence have several alternative options, from the Brightline (traveling to a different city) or Amtrak train to Taxi and rideshare apps (Uber, Lyft).

To ensure a safe ride on i-95, drivers must make sure their car is in good condition, respect speed limits and other road signs, be aware of other drivers, use extra caution in dangerous weather conditions and remain off their phones (if an emergency, pull over). Please have the destination ready in the GPS before moving the car.
